Who We Are

14 Wing Combined Charities is a registered Canadian Public Foundation dedicated to supporting military families and the broader community at Canadian Forces Base Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

Our Heritage

Founded in the early 1990s, 14 Wing Combined Charities emerged from a deep commitment to serve those who serve Canada. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by military families—frequent relocations, deployments, and the sacrifices inherent in military life—our organization was established to provide meaningful support and cultivate community resilience.

Located at CFB Greenwood in Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis Valley, we are proud to be part of a vibrant military community with a rich history of service to our nation. 14 Wing is home to the Royal Canadian Air Force's maritime patrol and training operations, and our charity exists to support the men and women who make these critical missions possible.

What We Do

Financial Support

We provide financial assistance to local registered nonprofits and military family support services. Through strategic partnerships, we ensure that resources reach individuals and families who need them most, whether it's emergency assistance, educational support, or quality-of-life improvements.

Community Events

Throughout the year, we organize and host fundraising events including craft sales, auctions, and 50/50 draws. These events not only raise critical funds but also bring our community together, fostering connections and celebrating the spirit of service and generosity.

Strategic Partnerships

We collaborate closely with local charities, community organizations, and the 14 Wing Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre to maximize our collective impact. By working together, we can address community needs more comprehensively and efficiently.

Military Family Advocacy

We are dedicated advocates for military families, ensuring they have access to resources, support networks, and opportunities that enhance their quality of life. From newcomers to the base to long-time residents, we are here to help.

The CFB Greenwood Community

Canadian Forces Base Greenwood is located in the heart of the Annapolis Valley, one of Nova Scotia's most picturesque regions. The base is home to approximately 1,000 military personnel and serves as a critical hub for Canada's maritime patrol and aircrew training operations.

The community surrounding CFB Greenwood is diverse, welcoming, and deeply connected to military life. Families here understand the challenges and rewards of service, and there is a strong culture of mutual support and camaraderie.
