How We Support Our Community

14 Wing Combined Charities operates a variety of programs designed to support military families and the broader Greenwood community. Through fundraising events, strategic partnerships, and direct assistance, we make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Charitable Grants Program

Our flagship program provides financial grants to local registered nonprofits, community organizations, and military family support services. We carefully evaluate applications to ensure funds reach programs that create maximum impact.

What We Fund:

Grant Distribution: We typically distribute grants quarterly, with special provisions for emergency assistance.

Military Family Support Services

In partnership with the 14 Wing Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), we provide targeted support for military families facing unique challenges related to service life.

Support Areas:

Relocation assistance and newcomer support
Deployment support for families
Mental health and counseling services
Child and youth programs
Spousal employment support
Special needs resources

Partnership Approach: We work closely with the MFRC to identify needs and provide financial support where it's most needed.

50/50 Draws

Regular 50/50 draws offer community members a chance to win while supporting charitable causes. These draws are conducted at various community events and locations throughout the year.
